The Jugaad Leadership Program (JLP) was established in 2015. "Jugaad" is a Hindi and Punjabi word that means "innovation." JLP is a leadership program that is supported by community partners and sponsors; the program ‘Train, Place & Connects’ Emerging Leaders of Color from underrepresented and marginalized communities to be professionals, leaders and advocates in their respective communities. Participants in this seven-session professional development training come from several countries across the globe and the United States.
Brenny Transportation, Inc. created by Joyce Brenny alongside her husband Todd, and Brenny’s current V.P., Bonnie Supan started in 1996 in Waite Park, MN. Today, the company’s growth has reached nationwide and its 130+ employees call St. Joseph home. The company’s iconic purple branded-rigs have been instrumental in delivering some very well-known loads across its existence including Highway 15’s Bridge of Hope in Sauk Rapids, MN, the granite (From Cold Spring) to rebuild the World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial in New York City, the pillars at the College of St. Benedict, and Joyce’s most memorable project, the female dormitory (barracks) reconstruction at West Point Academy in New York.

The St. Cloud Young Eagles program began in 1992 as a community outreach by local chapters of the Experimental Aviation Association (EAA). The chapters of EAA were encouraged to provide free plane rides for children interested in aviation through rallies open to the public and individual flights through personal contact. EAA 551, the St. Cloud chapter of EAA, began giving flights that same year. This summer marks 30 years of the Young Eagles!
Granite City Motor Park is an entertainment facility. They have a 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval that hosts dirt track auto racing from early May through Labor Day. The track hosts WISSOTA sanctioned Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Mod Fours, and Hornets on a weekly basis.
