Description: Job Welder Job Description This position involves production MIG welding on mild steel, utilizing jig and fixture welding techniques. The role requires working from work orders, setting up jigs and fixtures according to prints, and welding a high volume of frames in various positions including flat and overhead. Responsibilities - Perform MIG welding on mild steel frames using jigs and fixtures. - Read and interpret blueprints to set up jigs and fixtures accurately. - Weld frames in various positions, including flat and overhead. - Ensure all welds and measurements are precise to maintain product quality. - Follow production schedules to meet high-volume output requirements. Essential Skills - Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding techniques. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints. - Experience with jig and fixture welding. - Familiarity with flux core welding.
