This position will offer great growth potential for a strong Warehouse Supervisor. ! They are seeking a motivated and skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee our grocery distribution operations. Responsibilities: - Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective grocery distribution operations. - Monitor inventory levels and implement appropriate replenishment strategies to avoid stockouts and minimize product spoilage. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce warehouse protocols to maintain a secure and organized work environment. - Train and mentor warehouse personnel on best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and equipment operation. - Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for employee growth and development. - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve overall warehouse efficiency. - Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, monitor productivity, and generate reports. - Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational performance. Qualifications: - Previous experience (at least 3 years) in a supervisory role within a grocery distribution or similar warehouse environment. - Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. - Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards in a grocery distribution setting. - Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software. - Strong preference for bilingual candidates. - Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.
