Our helpful help desk technicians use their awesome problem-solving skills and IT knowledge to assist customers with connection, software configurations, and outage issues and decide when to escalate an issue or dispatch field technicians to resolve service troubles. The shift we are looking to fill is from 12:30-9 pm. Your schedule would include every other weekend. This position can be located in a variety of our work locations. You will need to have: - Minimum of 1-year experience in customer service and/or a troubleshooting environment - Be at least 18 years of age - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities including effectively responding to and resolving technical situations over the phone We prefer you have: - AAS degree in computer, IT, networking or related - Experience in a technical phone support role a plus! - Knowledge of data communication protocols, high-speed connections, modem configuration, web browsers, Internet services such as HTTP, FTP, DNS, POP, etc. - Intermediate to advanced knowledge of email software, Windows, Mac systems, etc. - Intermediate understanding of Internet, phone and cable services is a plus What's in it for you?
