JOB DUTIES: Duties may include:1. Assist student(s) with special needs throughout the school day with instruction in basic skills, social skills and routine assistance for students who need support with managing extreme behaviors, toileting, hygiene, medical and mobility needs2. Supervise special education student(s) to ensure safety3. Assist with collecting and monitoring of student progress data. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School diploma2. Highly Qualified per MDE requirements for special education paraprofessionals *3. Acceptance of students' disabilities and limitations4. Must be able to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds5. Accepts direction from supervising teacher(s) and is willing to work as a team *Attach passing exam scores from either the ParaPro / ParaEducator or college transcripts to your application. SALARY and BENEFITS: Salary based on the 2025-2027 School Support Employees Agreement Level VI from $20.58 up to $22.91 per hour.
