Trade in the call lights, alarms, and all the beeps and blips you hear in a typical day as a Registered Nurse in the hospital for the freedom and flexibility of a Home Care Registered Nurse! This position can be full-time, 72 hours every two weeks, or part-time, 40 hours every two weeks depending on candidate preference. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., every 4th weekend and 2 holiday a year. This position will be working in Sauk Centre, Alexandria, Grey Eagle, Long Prairie and surrounding areas. Job Summary: Join CentraCare’s “Team Teal” as a Home Care Registered Nurse (RN), where you’ll serve people in your community and provide skilled care to patients in their homes. Home Care Team Registered Nurses work independently, allowing you to create schedules that work for you. You’ll care for 5 to 6 patients per day. That allows you to give each patient the personalized attention and quality care they deserve in a less stressful environment. We provide extensive training and ongoing RN office support while you’re making home visits to patients. Duties Include: - Providing skilled care in the home to prevent rehospitalization and improve compliance and accountability. - Use of technology in the field including telemonitoring, computer and iPhone. - Wound management and infusion therapy. - Managing of high acuity patients via thorough assessments. - Providing education and training to patients on their new diagnosis. Pay: - You’ll make more but our minimum pay is: $34.04/hr; BSN $34.89/hr; MSN $35.76/hr Qualifications: - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. - Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license required. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required. - Minimum of one year of RN experience in long-term care or an acute care setting preferred. - Reliable transportation required. - Valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and insurance liability coverage required. Hiring bonus requirements: To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
