External Description Str : Find your purpose in the St. Cloud Hospital's Sterile Processing Department! We prepare surgical instruments and devices. That means we clean, inspect, test, sterilize, store and deliver devices needed for surgery in a healthcare facility. Because of the work we do, surgeons can operate safely on patients in our communities. You will spend your shifts amongst a passionate team, while enjoying incredible views of the Mississippi River while you work! “We work in an area that is never seen by our patients. However, the impact we have in our patient care is immeasurable. Without clean and sterilized surgical tools, the surgeons would not be able to save our patient’s lives. I enjoy the great diversity of our team and being a part of the growth and development of each staff member. It is rewarding to see new staff, with no prior experience or knowledge of the department, join us and grow into an experienced and knowledgeable employee or a leader within the unit.” Vanessa – SPD Manager POSITION INFORMATION: PAY - Base pay starts at $16.81 / hour . - As you move forward and earn certifications, you will earn more money as a Tech II, Tech III, etc..
