Overview As the Treasury Accountant: As the Treasury Accountant, you will support the Accounting team with corporate and store level treasury functions. You will provide routine support and education to store level front end staff, administer the company's daily cash reporting, prepare and process wires and ACH uploads, and manage the central coin custody processes. You will be a member of the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Staff. Responsibilities of This Position Include: Provide remarkable accounting support to Front End store level staff by answering their questions in a timely manner, proactively partnering with the Front-End team to educate them on the processes and assist with maintaining SOPs on the process that can be shared with Front End staff. Responsible for the day-to-day administration of daily cash reporting, including posting daily cash from bank activity, completing bank reconciliations, and investigating the over/short report to resolve discrepancies. Prepares and processes templated daily wires, completes ACH and Positive Pay file uploads, initiatives routine ACH sweep of activity between accounts, and initiates and maintains documentation for non-templated wires. Manage the Central coin custody processes and reconcile the central coin custody during monthly financial close process. Responsible for managing a master file with up to date information on all agreements, services at stores, and bank accounts. Ensure all agreements are up to date and engage the applicable leaders if agreements are expiring. Responsible for reconciling assigned Accounts Receivable subledger accounts to the general ledger. Investigate any issues/discrepancies and work with the applicable business area to resolve the issue. Evaluate corporate and store level treasury processes to identify opportunities for streamlining, automation, and efficiency enhancements. Perform audit-related duties, as assigned, particularly sales tax and general ledger audits. Responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and internal control procedures. Work closely with the extended accounting team to implement appropriate controls around financial record keeping and accounting activities to mitigate financial risks.
