A DAY IN THE LIFE - Working with Director level and up on Human Resources related issues for both the corporate and construction side of the business. - Analyzes complex and multidimensional trends, analytics, and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies, influencing others regarding policies, practices, and procedures. - Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. - Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. WHAT YOU’LL NEED - A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline; or equivalent combinations of education and human resources experience required. - Minimum of 10 years of experience of complex and multidimensional business strategy, employee relations issues, and working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. - 5+ years previous leadership experience required. WHAT WILL SET YOU APART - Experience working with Union project sites preferred. - Ability to travel 50% of the time to construction project sites. - Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
