Get more details below! - Worksite Location: Waite Park, MN - Salary : $60-80k (DOE) - Permanent Employment What you will do as the Senior Staff Accountant: - Manage retail billing and commercial project job costing - Assist with month-end general ledger close activities - Code and post daily expenses accurately and efficiently - Reconcile and remit sales/use taxes in compliance with regulations - Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data - Collaborate effectively with team members in an open office setting - Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures - Provide support for audits and other financial reviews What you will bring to the role as the Senior Staff Accountant: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 5+ years of experience in accounting or related industry - Strong understanding of general ledger functions and principles. - Experience with sales and use tax reconciliation - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite - Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and grow into a more senior-level or controller role Take the first step on your new career path!
