In this role you will be responsible for creating global strategic plans for the virology and anti-infective services market; including in-depth voice of customer research, pricing models, competitive analysis, and user and stakeholder needs. This is a full time position based at our headquarters in St. Cloud, MN or at our location in Kalamazoo, MI. Some key duties in this role include: - Drive creation of strategic business plans that demonstrate clear understanding of business needs (strategic fit, forecast, pricing plan, and margin targets). - With an innovative mindset, develop and execute strategic growth map to prioritize immediate, midterm, and long-term portfolio development needs. - Solicit customer, prospect, and partner input (via customer calls, user focus groups, site visits, tradeshows, surveys) to understand market opportunities, gaps and requirements. Collecting and interpreting voice of customer (VOC) in order to define market requirements and independently design market research and intelligence strategies for the portfolio. - Effectively use and interpret qualitative and quantitative research while documenting within a knowledge base. - Utilize market research and third-party data to identify key industry trends with a focus on customer segmentation, scientific development, competitive landscape, regulatory environment and macroecomic influences. - Provide direction and guidance to project teams to execute tactical marketing projects and initiatives. - Recognized as an expert in own area with specialized depth of knowledge and an ability to assess, understand, and transfer knowledge to other team members on market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics, etc. - Develop and monitor success measurements (KPIs) and regularly report to key stakeholders - Validate market requirements to ensure acceptance and priority. - Work cross functionally with all departments of Microbiologics. - Perform other duties within the Marketing department or other areas as assigned.
