Job Summary This position is perfect for an exceptional Electrical Design Engineer with 10+ years of experience, involved with designing electrical panels. Knowledge of OEM manufacturing practices is required and prior PLC is a plus. Experience such as designing and drafting electrical panels, including device layout and circuiting, is extremely useful for this position. Good people and communications skills are important. In this position you will… - Research, design, develop, plan electrical panel layouts - Select components for electromechanical, and electronic control systems - Directs and/or coordinates activities involved in the fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of commercial and industrial products and systems. - This position will also assist the Engineering Manager with leading and mentoring junior engineers and technicians throughout the development cycle including reviews, training and workflow management. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required - 10+ years of job experience - Experience with electrical panel layout, schematic design, ladder logic programming (Rockwell Automation-RSLogix5000, Factory Talk View, RSLinx, and Connected Components Workbench), system testing and troubleshooting is essential - A strong understanding of electrical power distribution principles and design - Ability to learn the application and implementation of VFD's for motor control is desired - Electrical CAD/SolidWorks Electrical experience preferred - Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and UL (508a & 1995), as well as best practices for control panel design is required - Must be proficient using Windows Office, and ERP software This position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunity for advancement.
