External Description Str : The Senior Director, CentraCare Pharmacy Services is responsible for the strategic planning, direction, operations, and financial performance of all pharmacy services for CentraCare Health, Inpatient, Outpatient, Infusion, Retail, Specialty Pharmacy, medication therapy management, anti-coagulation, medication safety, drug diversion, and 340b teams and programs. This role requires a dynamic and visionary leader who is dedicated to advancing pharmacy practice, driving operational excellence, and delivering outstanding care experiences for our patients and staff. They will work in a highly matrixed structure creating and implementing goals, action plans, policies, and procedures, ensuring that pharmacy laws and regulatory requirements are met, supporting and implementing objectives that further safety and quality, the patient experience, employee experience, and operational excellence. This position encompasses a system-wide scope and will be responsible for the health and success of strategic ventures and partnerships outside of CentraCare that further Pharmacy services and objectives. You will utilize high reliability and CentraCare Operating System best practices and methods throughout your work and span of control. Building and sustaining long-term, thriving relationships and working in a highly dynamic and collaborative manner with internal and external stakeholders is an essential expectation of this position. Schedule Details: - Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks - Monday – Friday, primarily hours between 8am – 5pm - Primary Location: St. Cloud Hospital - Requires ability to travel approximately 25% of the time Pay and Benefits: - Exempt role, pay based on experience - Full-time benefit eligible | Benefits Guide - Retirement with matching, up to 7.5% Qualifications: - Doctorate Degree in PharmD, RPh or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, or Master’s Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required - At least 7 years of progressive pharmacy or equivalent healthcare leadership and management experience required - Experience leading large-scale teams in a health system setting - Experience setting strategy, creating business plans, and managing strategic partnerships and ventures - Ability to work successfully in a high-matrixed organizational structure - Strong skillsets in computerized pharmacy and Microsoft applications - Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and quality improvement methodologies - Licensed in Minnesota as a Pharmacist preferred Department Information: CentraCare has a large, comprehensive network of Pharmacy locations and programs to help serve our patients in a variety of ways. We currently have Inpatient Pharmacy locations across our 9 hospitals, Outpatient Pharmacy services at our network ambulatory/outpatient centers with who we collaborate, Infusion Pharmacy presence throughout the system, three Retail Pharmacy locations with the potential to expand, Specialty Pharmacy that has grown by approximately 20% or more year over year since its inception, comprehensive Medication Therapy Management and Anti-coagulation teams spanning the system, a robust Medication Safety program and Drug Diversion program, and large, complex 340b program. This is a fast-paced roll requiring exceptional relationship skills as the incumbent works in and with many stakeholders of different reporting lines throughout the system.
