#LI-Remote A DAY IN THE LIFE - This role is responsible for contract drafting and negotiation and creating and implementing legal best practices and standard operating procedures. - Reviews, negotiates, and edits owner contracts involving assigned owners in collaboration with operations leaders and if needed, Associate General Counsel. - Advises operations personnel on contractual risks and negotiation strategies related to such contracts. - Acts as agent of corporation and other transactions related to projects. - Reviews subcontract edits proposed by subcontractors and advises Contract and Subcontract Administrators on acceptable contract language and negotiation strategies. - Provides advice and counsel to company leaders on a variety of areas including legal risks of company activities, regulatory compliance, policies, practices, procedures, and contractual terms and conditions. WHAT YOU’LL NEED - A Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association accredited law school. - Admission to the bar in the state in which you intend to practice. - Minimum 12 years total experience. General contracting and construction law experience required. WHAT WILL SET YOU APART - Employment, labor and litigation management experience preferred. - Renewable and/or Utility Scale EPC Construction experience preferred.
