Duties include, but are not limited to: - monitoring and reporting all activity, conducting foot patrols, vehicular patrols, golf cart patrols, and/or bicycle patrol of applicable interior and/or exterior areas; - reporting suspicious activities, suspicious persons, - writing detailed narrative reports, - maintaining daily activity reports (DAR’s), - enforcing post orders, site rules, regulations, policies, procedures, - and responding to emergency situations requiring security assistance. Position Overview & Scope - Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. - Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures. - Accurately logs inbound / outbound traffic via site specific site procedures through control post, verifying delivery paperwork and notifying operations. - Completes all required end of shift incident reports. - Provides direction and support to associates needing assistance with security matters. - Monitors truck yard activity to ensure the security of the facility, preventing unauthorized access. - Reports suspicious activities, safety hazards, unusual circumstances and/or behavior, maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, etc. - Conducts visual inspections of vehicles entering and leaving the facility property as directed. - Conducts regular and random patrols of the interior and perimeter of the facility and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions. - Provides customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
