TYPE OF POSITION: Hourly Hours may vary based on program needs REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Nutritional Services, First Cook (JH/SH Second Cook), Building Principals SUPERVISION: Assist with supervision of kitchen personnel QUALIFICATIONS: Required - High school diploma or equivalent - 1-3 years’ work related experience - MSNA (MN School Nutrition Association) Certification Level 1 (required within 3 years of hire date) - Serv Safe Certification (required within 1 year of hire date) Preferred - Bilingual POSITION SUMMARY: This is the third level in the five level nutritional services group. Incumbents perform the duties of the previous levels as well as more complex nutritional services functions, including assisting with the supervision of all kitchen personnel (Jr/Sr High schools) or supervision of all kitchen personnel (elementary schools).
