POSTING # 3118WORK HOURS: 1.0 FTE (serving Mississippi Heights, Plesantview and Rice Elementaries) JOB DUTIES: Knowledge of:Special Education disabilities/servicesChild protection concernsChild and Family HealthCounty Social Service Systems/ServicesCommunity Mental Health ResourcesJuvenile JusticeCommunity Assistance Programs Competency in:Children's social/emotional & mental health concerns affecting their educational success including, but not limited to: Family SystemsMental Health DiagnosesChild Abuse and NeglectChild Development Roles and Responsibilities:Provide case management services for all students receiving special education programming. These services include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement individualized attendance plans for familiesParticipation on the child's IEP team for purposes of consultation and planningDelivery of counseling services as neededTeacher consultation as it pertains to intervention planningParent consultationDirect service provision to students during the course of their school dayMobilize community and county resources and integrate them into the life of the school (United Way, Greater MN Family Services, Central MN Mental Health Center, etc.)Align community partners and programs with District's academic plans and goalsCommunicate, share information with, and get input from Social Workers throughout the District Other School Responsibilities: Participation as member of student services departmentParticipation in the every-day operations and activities of PleasantviewOther duties as assigned and in accordance with licensure(s) QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements:Graduation from a CSWE accredited social work university program with a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) and Minnesota Board of Social Work Licensure or equivalency.Preferred qualifications:Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW)License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)SALARY:Based on the Sauk Rapids-Rice Education Association's Master Agreement as negotiated.DEADLINE:Applications accepted online at www.isd47.org/start-your-career until filled.NOTE:Candidates must pass a criminal background check in order to be eligible for employment.
