The Sales Agronomist position is responsible to carry out sales support activities in a specified geographical area in order to maximize the results of our sales effort, maintain, develop and grow the overall sales volume in that territory in a manner which meets company objectives. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Develop and oversee research and field trial program. - Assist in agronomic training of other Nachurs personnel. - Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, producer organizations and other research and extension agencies. - Assist in diagnostic and troubleshooting services as it relates to Nachurs products. - Assist sales personnel with direct farm visits to growers in order to promote, generate interest for and develop customer loyalty for the Nachurs portfolio of products. - Participate in grower meetings and trade shows as required. - Participate in activities as required to help build loyalty to the Nachurs brand. - Other duties as may be required from time to time. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural field preferred - 3 or more years of experience in agricultural sales role - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to travel, 75% overnight travel required - Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office, CRM, etc. - Nachurs Alpine Solutions is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
