External Description Str : Find your purpose as a Registered Nurse at CentraCare Neurology Clinics. You’ll provide care to patients in the clinic setting working as a valuable member of the health care team making independent and dependent decisions under the direction of a provider. Core Functions - Coordinates and delivers care in accordance with the Minnesota Board of Nursing- Nurse Practice Act. - Utilizes the critical thinking model of the nursing process in providing patient and family centered care. - Possesses the ability to understand patients' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and hospital staff. - Demonstrates knowledge and clinical skills needed to perform all nursing care treatments and procedures. - Practices in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principle. - Uses effective communication skills in all aspects of care. - Participates in committee work collectively working toward a common goal, through clinical practice, education, research, performance improvement, professional and satisfaction activities. Hours and Schedule: - 72 hours per 2-week pay-period. - Day hours 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm, and one-half day per week (mornings preferred) Benefits - Regular positions offer medical, dental, PTO, retirement, discounts at local and national businesses, and more! Licenses and Certifications - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota required. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
