As an RN MDS Nurse at Country Manor: Responsibilities:+ Be responsible for all assigned MDS's, CAA's, and care plans according to State Regulations and Standards.+ Complete RN Assessments as assigned.+ Will actively work with nursing staff to aid in accuracy and completion of item sets of MDS.+ Will be responsible to know and comply with facility and department safety rules.+ Assume responsibility for personal growth and development by attending in-services and educational programs made available.+ Attend daily report and monthly wing meetings.+ Assists with auditing of documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and standards of practice are met.+ Assists with skin assessments and weekly skin rounds as directed.+ Assists with completion of clinical and reimbursement audits.+ Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: + Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.+ Knowledge and understanding of reimbursement of skilled payors/insurances including but not limited to Medicare, Medicare Replacement, private and commercial health plans.+ Knowledge and understanding of the Minnesota Case Mix System, MDS process, care planning system and general resident assessment requirements.+ Strong nursing assessment skills.+ Basic computer skills.+ Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the health care team.+ Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.+ Must be in good mental and physical health and have a genuine concern for the elderly.
