Restoring Families .® Responsibilities The role of Residential Manager is to oversee the assigned residential houses and to ensure that the Newport Program runs smoothly from a day to day basis. The Manger, Program works directly with the Residential Supervisors at assigned location offering direction, support and feedback. The Residential Manager also acts a liaison to the Clinical Team and the Experiential Facilitators, sharing information and direct plans with the CC's to offer the most up to date and individualized treatment for our Residents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Making schedules for both houses and handling any other scheduling issues Delegating responsibilities and duties from shift to shift to the Residential Supervisors. Identify shift leads and develop appropriate training Conduct weekly meetings with the Residential Supervisors to monitor progress and work on areas of improvement Conduct monthly meetings with Staff of each assigned location to monitor progress and work on areas of improvement Interview and select new employees in conjunction with HR and the Program Director Coordinate interview times, documentation, and update iCIMS. Provide training from the Newport module for all new direct care staff and review monthly with all employees Conduct performance evaluations of Residential Supervisors Attend morning rounds and provide updated information to the Clinical team and bring any information/plans to my direct care staff each day Attend weekly Treatment Team meetings and give feedback pertaining to Residents of each house and send weekly Action Plans Work directly with Clinical Staff regarding daily scheduling issues and specific treatment plans for Residents Work directly with Experiential Facilitators with daily scheduling and any individualized Treatment Plans Schedule and facilitate special activities for Residents (i.e. rock climbing, skating, movies, conferences etc.) Responsible for payroll approval and PTO management for all Residential Supervisors and Care Coordinators under their supervision Assist Program Director in preparation for DCF visits/tours. Act as point of escalation for challenging or emergent situations Observe Residential Supervisors and Care Coordinators in action daily to identify coaching, training, or recognition opportunities Provide backup for Residential Supervisors during vacations, illness, or approved leaves of absence Facilitate program portion of Parent Orientation Facilitate tours as needed Oversee all new resident intakes and consents Ensure safety in the community Qualifications The Residential Manager will either be working towards a minimum of a bachelor's degree in human services, counseling, psychology or social work or state approved credential or a minimum of one year of experience working with adolescents and families with co-occurring disorders.
