External Description Str : - $3,500 hiring bonus - $5,000 relocation assistance for those who qualify In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the St. Cloud Hospital, you will work with patients of all ages before and after surgeries. RNs may work in the pre-op area ensuring a patient is prepped for surgery and safe to go to the operating room. After surgery, the RN will work with surgeons and anesthesiologists as the patient wakes up to ensure they are stable before being discharged or brought back to their hospital room. In this fast-paced environment you will need to think on your feet along with being flexible and adaptable. Schedule: - Full-time, 64-80 hours every two weeks - Monday-Thursday night shift from 10pm-7:30am - No weekends! - Only 1-2 holidays a year - Occasional call coverage for vacation Qualifications - Graduate from a nursing program and current RN licensure in MN required - BSN required within three years of hire - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 12 months of hire - Previous experience in ICU, CCU, or PACU settings preferred - Critical care experience in Hemodynamic monitoring and Basic EKG interpretation preferred $3,500 Hiring Bonus Eligibility: To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. $5,000 Relocation Assistance Eligibility: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
