External Description Str : Find your purpose changing the lives of our patients as a Registered Nurse at our Melrose Hospital! As a Registered Nurse, you're responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established nursing practice standards. In this role, you will collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes by integrating knowledge of patient's age and cultural diversity into provision of patient care. As an RN, you will supervise the care provided to assigned patients in accordance with current standards, guidelines and regulations that govern this facility and as may be required by the Director/Head Nurse or Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Current Minnesota RN license required - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certified within 9 months of hire - Critical Advanced Life Support certified within 9 months of hire To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must accept a part time or full time benefit eligible position and may not have work for CentraCare for at least the past nine months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles from the Melrose Hospital and must move within 30 miles of it within 120 days of employment.
