Reading Interventionist Saint Andrew Catholic School – Elk River, MN Part-Time Reports To: Principal Job Summary: St. Andrew Catholic School (Elk River, MN) is seeking a caring, knowledgeable, and student-centered Part-Time Elementary Reading Interventionist to support students in developing foundational literacy skills and becoming confident readers. The Reading Interventionist will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, support staff, and administration to provide targeted reading instruction and interventions for students in the K-3 grades. Job Responsibilities and Duties: - Provide small-group and/or individual reading intervention instruction to elementary students - Assess student reading progress and monitor growth through ongoing data collection - Implement research-based literacy intervention strategies using the Groves reading curriculum - Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student learning goals - Communicate student progress with teachers, administration, and families as appropriate - Assist in identifying students who may benefit from additional academic support services - Foster a positive, encouraging, and faith-filled learning environment - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student interventions Job Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required - Valid Minnesota teaching license preferred; Training or experience in reading instruction, literacy intervention, or elementary education preferred - Knowledge of evidence-based reading practices and literacy development - Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills - Passion for helping students grow academically and personally - Must be an active, practicing Catholic and in good standing with the church Compensation: $21,420-$24,410 annually To Apply: Email letter of interest and resume to Deacon Kent Yoder at kenty@saint-andrew.net
