Quality Inspector

Job DescriptionInsight Global is searching for a Quality Inspector for an industrial manufacturing client.This individual will serve as temporary coverage for a Quality Assurance Technician who is currently on a leave of absence. The Quality Inspector will support manufacturing operations by performing receiving inspections, operator self-inspection (OSI) activities, and product, part, and process audits. This role is responsible for ensuring raw materials, components, assemblies, and finished products meet all applicable quality standards, specifications, and performance requirements before moving through production or to customers.On a day-to-day basis, the Quality Inspector will perform receiving inspections of materials from suppliers and customers, review certificates of conformance and material test reports, conduct in-process product and configuration audits, and support black light inspections as required. This person will work closely with manufacturing personnel to support Operator Self Inspection processes and verify completed products meet performance testing requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical inspection background, be comfortable reading engineering drawings and specifications, and be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve quality processes, procedures, and overall operational effectiveness.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
