Duties and Responsibilities: - This Position is responsible for the inspection of precision machining parts by using Mitutoyo SJ-410 Surface AnalyzerBrown & Sharp Optical Comparator w/ Qudra-Chek 2000, OGP Smartscope Flash 200 Vision System w/ TTL Laser and Renishaw Touch Probe, Mitutoyo PH-3500 Optical Comparator w/ Heidenhain Quadra-Chek ND1202, Prolink QC-Calc SPC and Real-Time Data Collection SoftwareKotem® SmartProfile GD&T Evaluation Software. Essential Functions: - Inspection of precision machined parts including reading blueprints, material specifications, machining parameters and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. - First Article Inspections and ISO documentation - Final Inspections and related ISO documentation - Create Balloon Drawings using Solid Works Inspection software. - Maintain safe operation by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. - Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance per manufacturer’s instructions. - Complete documentation per requirements. - Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. - Accomplish Organization goals by accepting ownership for exploring opportunities to add value to company goals and personal accomplishments. - In-house verification of inspection equipment. - Laser Marking of manufactured precision parts. Education and Experience: - High School degree or equivalent required. - 3+ years of experience working as a Quality Inspector required. - Computer skills, Solid Works, Microsoft Office, and ISO 9001:2015 required. - Conceptual, process improvement, verbal communication and technical skills required. - Ability to multi-task and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision. - Tooling knowledge required.
