You will serve patients and their families impacted by anxiety, depression, pain, stress, and trauma issues. Provide outpatient diagnostic assessment, psychological testing, and psychotherapy services. Preference given to licensed psychologists/psychotherapists having previous experience with outpatient services in a Behavioral Health Specialty Clinic. Psychologist – Adult Partial Hospitalization The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program provides intense mental health treatment and stabilization of mental health symptoms (to individuals 18+ years old) in an out-patient setting. Be part of the interdisciplinary treatment team alongside psychiatry, psychotherapists, recreation therapist and program staff. Services that are provided by our treatment team each day include: Recreation Therapy, Social skills education, Individual, family and group therapy, Psychoeducational groups, Individualized treatment plans and Psychiatric assessment and medication monitoring. Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. This Adult Partial Hospitalization Program position will be located at the CentraCare Plaza. What you can expect to do in the role: + Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, discharge planning and care management. + Create an individualized treatment plan to identify goals, strategies, and effective interventions to strengthen the child-caregiver relationship. + Provide daily group therapy, weekly individual therapy, and possibly family therapy. + Assist in staff development through consultation, education, and supervision. + Lead and facilitate weekly unit meetings to review and update individual treatment plans. What will make you stand out: - Case management skills. - Comfortability working with an interdisciplinary team. - Great communication skills, verbal, written and in charting. - Knowledge, interest or experience working with patients with a trauma history. - Experience or training in treatment modalities such as CBT and/or DBT. - Prior experience or internship in a mental health setting. Qualifications : PSYCHOLOGIST PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology is required. Minimum of one-year experience is preferred Completion of post-doc training year prior to start date preferred License eligible within one year of hire by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology as Licensed Psychologist (LP). PSYCHOTHERAPIST Master’s Degree in Social Work is required. Minimum of one-year experience is required. Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Social Work at Independent Clinical level (LICSW) required. ASSOCIATE PSYCHOTHERAPIST Master’s Degree in Social Work is required. Clinical internship experience relevant to the position is preferred. Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Social Work as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). Full licensure for independent practice (MN LICSW) is required within 5 years of hire. Requires successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services.
