Duties Major duties include but are not limited to: - Plan the development and implementation of outreach programs and activities to expand the patient base of the SCVAHCS. - Identify outreach opportunities and work independently to coordinate staff, communication materials, and logistics for community outreach events. - Develop and employ marketing strategies that target specific Veteran populations based on facility director's goals. - Conduct data analysis of Veteran demographics, market saturation, public sentiment, and other factors that contribute to health care enrollment and eligibility. - Produce professional written and oral presentations. - Develop, coordinate, and oversee a case management approach to new patient recruitment and enrollment. - Prepare monthly reports regarding new enrollees and eligibility categories, among others. - Determine outreach budgetary needs by reviewing historical data and trends. - Design innovative means to promote and market SCVAHCS services to outreach program audiences. - Develop relationships with business and community leaders to foster communication and a favorable reputation in the community. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successfully completed a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or LL.B. or J.D., in a related field of the position to be filled. OR, - Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have a combination of specialized experience and education beyond the first year of graduate education that totals 100%.
