In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality granite products while supporting a skilled, team-oriented production environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, learning new equipment, and working with your hands in a manufacturing setting, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information! What You’ll Do as a Production Floater: - Load and unload granite materials into production machines - Read production tickets and gather correct products and patterns - Use overhead cranes to move materials in and out of machines - Operate CNC machines, with training available for setup and programming - Finish and polish final granite products What You Need to Bring to the Production Floater Role: - Must have at least 1 year of production experience in the last 3 years - Must be able to read a tape measure accurately - Must have basic computer and math skills - Must have strong attention to detail (hands-on or mechanical hobbies a plus) - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation - Willingness to work in multiple production areas and collaborate as part of a team - Good color perception (must not be color blind or color deficient) - Willingness to wear required safety gear, including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection - No CNC experience required – training provided Why You’ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
