Overview As the Print Services Manager you will oversee all the production within Coborns Inc. From signage production to printing for the company's retail stores, marketing, merchandising and other business areas, you will be the expert in all materials and printing equipment. You will use your creative abilities to ensure that print projects meet the specifications for the business while adhering to deadlines and budget. Though you will be working with print materials and machinery, you will support the organization by providing remarkable guest service, ensuring the timely completion of projects to meet deadlines, maintaining high quality standards, optimizing print processes to maximize efficiency, budget, delivery logistics and equipment maintenance. If you enjoy working with others and leading team, you will have the opportunity to guide and mentor a team of print services professionals, manage vendor partnerships and maintain high quality guest service both internally and externally! Additionally, you will: Manage all aspects of the print services department to ensure high quality work is produced and performed from preprinting to finishing, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications. Coordinate, prioritize, adjust, and direct all jobs based on deadlines while adhering to production schedules, project specifications, equipment availability and established ship dates. Collaborate and cooperate with internal stakeholders to understand the project requirements, expectations and timelines. Manage relationships with external vendors for various production projects when outsourcing may be considered or required. Troubleshoot technical issues related to printing equipment, collaborating with maintenance technicians for repairs and maintenance as needed. Research, recommend and integrate new technology platforms for Print Services. Monitor inventory levels of printing supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed to maintain uninterrupted workflow. Develop a culture of recognition, accountability, coaching for talent development, and urgency. Partner with the Director of Marketing and Human Resources to hire, develop and retain top talent, as well as address employee relations issues. They will train, coach and mentor on how to engage the team and drive quality product through executional excellence and a high level of productivity. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in business or graphic arts, preferred. Five to seven years of progressive prior management of offset and digital print technologies, preferably in an in-plant print and bindery operation. Or, Associates Degree with ten or more years of progressive prior management in an in-plant print and bindery operation. Demonstrated background in variable data digital printing processes. Must be detail oriented, accurate and able to follow-through to exacting customer specifications. Advanced understanding of four-color printing processes and accurately discern colors. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines.
