Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $25 / hour What you'll be doing as a Lead Finisher: - Planning and organizing daily projects including planning methods based on blueprints or written/oral instructions, and estimating the amounts, types or costs of materials needed - Preparing finishing materials - Determine and obtain specific materials needed - Develop custom stains using mixing formula sheet - Check proper installation of pain in spray gun - Prepare equipment according to work order and reference formulas using computer - Prepare projects for application by inspecting project's surface, removing sanded residue, disassembling packaging, and preparing surfaces using sander - Completing application of finishing material by spraying paint or stain and properly storing on drying racks or stabilizing carts - Completing work order reports - Completing additional processing and quality check - Monitoring work environment including monitoring equipment operation, organizing department to maintain project efficiency and maintain safety rules and regulations - Inspecting projects of subordinates as well as training and organizing work activities of subordinates - Monitor departmental inventory for reordering Available shifts: Shift Timings:1st Shift (Day) Job requirements: - Knowledge of woodworking, stain, sand, paint, lacquer, raw materials, the production process, quality control, costs - Time management skills - Good manual dexterity - Ability to process information - Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work - Physical ability to perform activities that require use of arms and legs and moving your whole body such as lifting, balancing, walking and handling of materials - Ability to handle and move objects - High attention to detail - Visual acuity abilities - Arm-hand steadiness - Troubleshooting skills - Conflict resolution skills - Willingness to learn, Excellent communication skills - Background check and Drug screen required Ready to take control of the way you work?
