Polish Machine Operator Position Details: Compensation: $19+ per hour. Based on Experience Schedule: Monday-Wednesday 3:15 pm-2:45 am; Thursday 3:15 pm-10:15 pm (Overtime as needed) Key Qualifications: Consistent employment for one year within the last two years. High School Diploma/GED General computer and math skills. Background in machine operating, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Ability to perform various duties, adapting quickly to changes to maintain production flow. Independent worker with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, emphasizing time management. Mechanical inclination and ability to read work orders, production tickets, and dimensional drawings. Proficiency in reading a tape measure in imperial and metric units. Willingness to work as a self-motivated team member, adhering to safety protocols and cross-training as required. Responsibilities: Operate the Polish machine to apply top or edge polishing to granite products based on production ticket requirements. Use a tape measure to verify slab length, width, flatness, and squareness. Load and unload granite products into the polish machine using an overhead crane. Align and square stone to the polish machine as needed. Ability to work independently, perform tasks with precision, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
