Polish Line 47 Operator

Job description JOB SUMMARY: The Polish Line 47 Operator is responsible for operating the Polish Line according to pre-determined polish recipes and settings; you will also be responsible for operating the automatic loading and unloading machine. Hours: Monday – Thursday: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Friday: 5:00 AM – 10:00 AM; Overtime as needed WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: - Inspecting the slab to verify its thickness and flatness - Using a hammer and chisel to remove damaged portions of stone - Loading the polish line by calibrating and using the automatic loading machine - Setting the polish head and brick sequence per the recipe for specific slabs being polished - Monitoring the polish machines during operation to adjust line speed for optimal performance - Unloading the polish line using the automatic unloading machine and verifying the slabs are unloaded onto the correct L-frame - Securing slabs on L-frames with a handheld banding machine SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: - Must be able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another - Must be able to work independently - Must have excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills - Must be mechanically inclined - Must have general math skills - Must be able to read work orders or production tickets, which may include dimensional drawings - Must be able to read a tape measure, imperial and metric Full Time Job summary Career Levels Entry Level Years of Experience < 1 1 - 3 Education Levels High School or equivalent Salary DOQ About LAMB Labor Services Staffing Agency Company name LAMB Labor Services Contact name Len Gilmore Phone 320.266.3059 Email apply@lamblaborservices.com Website http://lamblaborservices.com Country United States State MN City Cold Spring
