Plant Associate

This position is responsible for performing a combination of job duties associated with the compressed/liquefied/cryogenic gas business. The position will safely fill cylinders and support the overall responsibilities of the plant and lab with high efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Fill cylinders with numerous gases such as Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Carbon Dioxide, etc. Fill cryogenic and other compressed gases from bulk source to cylinders according to customer orders. Monitor filling operations to ensure accuracy of gases through the plant automation system. Perform cylinder inspections identifying surface defects and leaks. Perform routine maintenance on various plant equipment. Maintain organization of the plant to ensure safety of all employees, vendors and visitors. Qualifications Education, Experience and Skills: High School diploma or equivalency. Prior industry experience or basic knowledge of gases, cryogenics is preferred. High attention to detail when dealing with tight tolerances and standards. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic customer service experience. Must be organized, have good reasoning skills, math aptitude and time management skills. Ability to make decisions based on facts and attain precise set limits.
