External Description Str : As a Patient Care Extender at St. Cloud Hospital, you’ll find your purpose by bringing comfort and healing to our patients. You’ll work with a team of amazing healthcare professionals every day. You’ll join them to listen, then serve, guide, and heal. As a Patient Care Extender in the PACU, you’ll help patients by cleaning and dressing wounds, starting splints, performing blood draws, among other things. You’ll get to work with amazing doctors and nurses who will help you learn and advance your career. Schedule: - Part-time various rotating schedules 6:30am-3pm, 8am-4:30pm, 10am-6:30pm, and 3-9:30pm. Current openings scheduled 24-40 hours or 48-64 hours per pay period. Working every 6th Saturday/Sunday and on call for holidays twice a year. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - EMT-Basic or Nursing Assistant preferred - Phlebotomy experience preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required, can be obtained once hired.
