Position Summary The Department of Culinary Services at the College of Saint Benedict invites applications for multiple part-time, long-term, temporary positions. Flexible and varied hours are offered with each position. The College of Saint Benedict (CSB) is a liberal arts college for women located in the central lakes area of Minnesota. Responsibilities Sanitation Associate - Dish: Gorecki Dining - Work as a team member in the dish room to provide clean and sanitary dishes, utensils, pans, pots, and dishware for the customers of Gorecki Dining. - Perform custodial duties including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and other projects as assigned by supervisors. - Skills gained/used from this position will include: interpersonal communication, teamwork, flexibility, dependability and customer service. Kitchen Prep: Gorecki Dining - Assist in preparation and production of all menu items for day-to-day operations - Provide quality foods to service areas - Practice sanitation and safety procedures Culinary Service Associate: McGlynn’s - Assist and serve students from CSB and SJU in our resident dining facilities. - Food prep/rotation/service - Light dish room and custodial duties. Qualifications Sanitation Associate - Dish: Gorecki Dining - On the job training is provided. - Previous experience in food service is helpful but not required. - Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds or less, with or without reasonable accommodations and perform essential functions of job such as lifting, walking and standing. - Availability to work evening and weekend assignments.
