Nursing Assistant

Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) Location: Guardian Angels Care Center - Elk River, MN The Nursing Assistant Registered is responsible for providing respectful, resident-centered care and assistance to the resident under the supervision of a licensed nurse. They assist the resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function. Mission: Guardian Angels provides exceptional healthcare, housing and supportive services to seniors and their families in the spirit of Christ's love Schedule: Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday. Job Duties: Provide dignified, respectful, resident-centered care for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. To accurately document cares provided, resident observations. Assist resident to achieve their highest level of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and spiritual function. To provide a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents. Follow universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation, and safety standards of practice in all work and activities. Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels Care Center policy and procedure as related to HIPPA. All duties performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations. Qualifications: Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota NA/R registry. Prior experience is preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age Self-motivated, ability to prioritize. EEO/AA
