What You’ll Do as a Mixing Operator: - Mix and blend ingredients according to recipes, formulas, and batch sheets - Operate mixers, blenders, scales, and other food processing equipment - Follow food safety, sanitation, GMP, and allergen-handling requirements - Verify lot codes and complete production paperwork accurately - Calculate batch times and ingredient amounts to minimize waste and maintain quality - Follow special procedures for freezer and mixing areas - Work with team members to meet daily production goals and safety expectations What You Need to Bring to the Mixing Operator Role: - Must have at least 6 months experience operating machinery or equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferrably in the food industry - Must have foundational knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices - Must be able to follow recipes, specifications, and work instructions accurately - Experience with food processing equipment such as mixers, blenders, and scales preferred - Must have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods - Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed Why You’ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
