What we need: Cetera is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to manage the Microsoft 365 infrastructure for Cetera’s Remote Administration firms. The Remote Administration program is a service offered to the independent businesses leveraging Cetera as their broker dealer and offers full-service managed IT. This role will manage all aspects of Microsoft 365 and surrounding infrastructure, escalated troubleshooting in partnership with the IT Operations team, and ongoing improvements to the Microsoft 365 platform. What you will do: Provide operational and escalated support as a Global Administrator for the Microsoft 365 platform and surrounding tools, including: - Exchange Online - Microsoft Teams - Azure Active Directory - OneDrive for Business - SharePoint Online - Intune - Proofpoint - Lead project to segment existing Microsoft 365 tenant using admin units, scope tags, address book policies, security groups, and other tools within the Microsoft 365 platform. - Collaborate with IT Operations team to provide technical expertise and resourcing for project initiatives. - Troubleshoot issues with user access to cloud services. - Document changes to the systems using change management best practices - Maintain a knowledgebase for system and processes owned by the role. What you need to have (Basic Qualifications): - 5+ years of overall Information Technology experience - 3+ years of Microsoft 365 tenant administration/global administration experience - 2+ years of Scripting (PowerShell) experience - Our top performers share the following traits: - Managed a “segmented” tenant with multiple business units or customers in one tenant. - Experience with a Managed Service Provider environment. - Strong understanding of messaging and mail flow. - Project leadership from design through implementation. - Ability to work independently but also collaborate when needed. #LI-HYBRID
