HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT Our Crisis Residential Mental Health Practitioners help our clients by providing support working toward their recovery goals in a supportive team with 24-hour mental health professional access. Some duties may include: - Provide support to clients in a mental health crisis in a residential setting. - Conduct mental health assessments, suicide/homicide assessments, Individual Abuse Prevention Plans and develop individual treatment plans. - Establish therapeutic relationships with clients and families who request services from residential services; provide resources, reassurance, and empathy. - Coordinate with clients existing providers and do any needed referrals. Job_requirement : WHAT YOU’LL NEED - Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) – Click HERE to help you determine if you meet MHP qualifications: - 4,000 hours working with those with mental health, developmental disabilities, or chemical dependency diagnosis: which can be part- time over several years or 2 years full time. Or - Holds a master’s degree or another graduate degree in behavioral sciences or related fields. Or - Holds a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or related fields and completes a practicum or internship that (1) requires direct interaction with adults or children served, and (2) is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields. And - Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening - Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record. - At least 18 years of age.
