Meridian Behavioral Health 19.00 vision insurance, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) United States, Minnesota, Sauk Rapids 1485 10th Avenue Northeast ( Show on map ) April 26, 2024 Description Medication Aide Location: Sauk Rapids, MN Shift: 1st shift: 7am-3:30pm + EOW 3rd shift: 10:00pm-8:30am + EOW Pay: $19.00 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential weekdays & shift differential weekends Job Duties: - Administers prescribed medications to patients and maintains medical records under the supervision of a nurse. - Verifies identity of patient receiving medication and records the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database. - Presents medication to patient and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication using specified procedures. - May take vital signs or observes patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reactions. - Documents reasons prescribed drugs are not administered. - Records and restock medication inventories. - Maintains patient confidence and protects the facility by keeping information confidential. - Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor. Job Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Interested in being a TMA (Trained Medication Aide), we will train you!
