Medical Assistant (MA) – Outpatient Clinic Location: Maple Grove, MN Contract Duration: 6 Weeks Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours per Week Shift Hours: - Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM - Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Wednesday & Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) for a short-term outpatient clinic assignment. Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, POC testing, scheduling, EMR documentation, and supporting both clinical and administrative operations. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities - Room and prepare patients for provider visits - Record vitals and maintain EMR documentation - Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, EKGs, and POC testing - Assist with vaccines and clinical procedures - Schedule appointments and manage patient flow - Support providers and nursing staff with patient care - Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms - Deliver excellent patient communication and support Required Qualifications - Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required - Experience with front and back-office MA duties - Phlebotomy, EKG, vitals, and EMR experience required - Current BLS or CPR certification required - Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills Preferred Qualifications - Medical Assistant Certification preferred - Occupational Health experience preferred - Strong organizational and patient education skills For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
