Job description: Riverview Sports and Marine is a family fun business that was founded in 1972. We are looking for a parts counter salesperson. You will work directly with customers to provide them with parts from brands like Yamaha Outboards, Suzuki Outboards, Suzuki Powersports, Viaggio Pontoons, Starcraft Deck Boats, etc. You will also be responsible for ordering / receiving in parts as well as working closely with the service department to supply them with needed parts. Responsibilities: - Assist customers in person, over the phone, and through email with parts requests using parts diagrams / parts books - Research and provide information about alternative parts options if needed like used and aftermarket parts options - Supply the service & rigging department with needed parts - Create & submit parts purchase orders - Receive and inventory ordered parts - Warranty and return parts to suppliers as needed - Maintain an organized & up to date customer special order pickup shelves - Maintain an organized & up to date warranty parts shelves - Assist the service department as needed including answering service questions and writing service repair orders. Service will help the parts department as needed also. - Answer and forward phone calls as needed Requirements: - Experience in parts sales. Marine and powersports experience is not required but is a huge plus - Ability to learn / use various computer programs. Mainly will be focused on using Lightspeed EVO dealer system, Partsmart parts catalog, and supplier websites - Excellent Communication Skills - Helpful & friendly attitude - Ability to multitask, balance priorities, and stay organized - Ability to work both as part of a team and independently Hours & Benefits: 40 hour work week - Includes Saturdays from 9:00-2:00 during primetime season ( Mid April - Mid June ) then alternating Saturdays during non primetime season. Schedule has some potential flexibility 3 weeks of paid vacation including 1 week for Christmas / New Year Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
