We are currently seeking to add a Manager Director to our Workplace Solutions team. The Managing Director, Workplace Solutions will be responsible for execution and management of the wealth bridge strategy; which includes designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive suite of workplace solutions, along with building and managing the requisite support and enablement teams, that give Cetera financial professionals confidence in their retirement offerings and enable financial security for retirement plan participants. What you will do: - Scope, design, build and manage the workplace wealth bridge solution set in partnership with the Solutions Development team. This workplace solution set should provide a ‘marketplace’ for participant financial security with access to potential services ranging from self-service financial wellness education, to holistic financial advice or asset management. - Continually respond to advisor and market needs by effectively translating Advisor and client focus group feedback into most effectively tactical implementation of the overall strategy. Identify areas where pivoting is needed and quickly and effectively implement those changes while ensuring our strategic priorities are always being met. - Hire, lead and manage the workplace solutions team which includes wealth bridge specialists, sales operations, and lead generation to support the ‘wealth bridge.’ - Develop and implement wealth bridge marketing strategy to engage 401(k) participants, in partnership with the marketing team, and utilizing digital marketing resources, to drive plan participant engagement of overall workplace solutions. With a target to engage a substantial portion of the current 850K participants our advisors currently serve. - Business ownership of advisor, plan sponsor, and participant user experience in partnership with our Cetera Digital experience teams. Inclusive of defining initial scope and requirements, negotiating with vendors, representing the needs of the business, and ongoing business management in responding to the needs of advisors, small business owners (plan sponsors), plan participants, and non-participating employees. - Responsible for all key metrics and indicators tied to successful launch and ongoing implementation of workplace initiative. - Ensure full transparency and open communication with all key stakeholders throughout initiative development and implementation efforts while keeping executive stakeholders apprised of value and implications of each phase of development. What you will have: - Bachelor's degree in business, economics or a related field or equivalent. - Minimum of 15 years in financial services - Minimum of 10 years of executive experience building, managing, and operating a business unit. - Minimum of 5 years leading retirement plan and/or participant worksite/workplace engagement strategy. - Deep understanding of the current 401(k) participant engagement landscape. - Intimate knowledge of retirement plan enterprise level plan and participant data. - Proven ability to engage and successfully negotiate with SAAS providers and other potential vendors with a particular interest and expertise in 401k industry specific SAAS providers. - Deep understanding of financial services industry with particular interest and understanding of advisor intermediated wealth management industry preferred. - Demonstrated leadership skills, with an ability to lead internal and external resources. - Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships and engage productively with all levels of the organization. - Demonstrated strategic planning skills. Travel Requirements: Up to 50% Compensation: The base annual salary range for this role is $225,000 - $250,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
