Competitive Benefit package Growth Opportunities Union employment Pay increase every 6 months Job Details MUST HAVE 2-year degree in mechatronics, instrumentation or 5+ years of equivalent experience GENERAL SUMMARY: The Maintenance – Electronic position is critical in the maintenance and/or repair of equipment/machines used for the manufacturing of quality products that meet customer requirements. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for performing activities outlined below: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) - Examine machines and equipment to diagnose trouble, dismantle machines, replace defective parts and reassemble machines. oDiagnose electronic and electrical equipment failures oRepair components and other equipment related to N/C controlled machines, peripheral equipment and other electronic systems. - Produce replacement parts and new parts necessary to repair and maintain all mechanical equipment oSet-up and operate machine tools to make replacement parts - Perform machine PM’s (preventive maintenance) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Preferred background in diagnosing and repairing equipment related to N/C controlled machines, peripheral equipment and other electronic systems. - High degree of skill required in scraping of ways and bearings and fitting of parts HOURS: Monday - Thursday: 3 pm - 1 am with optional OT every Friday!
