Machine Operator – Machinist

We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles to work on the 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday, 4:30 pm – 3:00 am. This company is currently running overtime after the shift until 5:00 am and overtime on Fridays from 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $17.00 per hour + a 12% shift differential equaling $19.04 per hour or more with experience. Interested? Read below for more information! What a Machine Operator will do: - Receive job assignments, instructions, and related documentation from supervisor/team lead - Set up, operate, and verify work on the assigned machine in a manner that consistently meets customer specifications, quality requirements, and production standards - Maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition in compliance with 5S standards - Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues - Follow all standard operating procedures and notify the supervisor/team lead of potential procedural improvement - Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly complete all documentation related to this position, i.e., lean record keeping, production reports, accurate timekeeping, etc. - Monitor product constantly to ensure that quality standards are being met and reject product that does not meet quality standards What you need to be a Machine Operator: - Must follow all safety procedures - Good math skills - Ability to read a tape measure - Ability to read and understand English - Previous experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment Don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
