CentraCare Obstetrics and Women’s Clinic has a team of 19 providers and 34 nurses who are experienced women’s care professionals. CentraCare Women’s clinic is the only OB/GYN specific clinic in the St. Cloud area and we help a rolling 1300 patients through their pregnancies each year. This LPN/CMA will see 200-300 patients a day for their prenatal appointments, Well Exams and general GYN appointments. They will be responsible for assisting medical, advanced practice, and professional/technical nursing staff in the quality treatment of care for patients. Our nursing team works very closely to provide quality care to our patients. Collaborate with on-site X-ray, and on-site or nearby pharmacy and laboratory services. Join our team and help us support our patients to the best of our abilities. In this role, you will provide patient focused rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, and assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently. This LPN/CMA will work with 1 provider and 3-4 other provider nurses, a phone nurse, and a RN. Our LPN/CMA’s are trained for both the provider nurse and phone nurse position so assist in covering when needed. Duties may include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, medication refills, prior authorizations, phone calls, assisting with in-office procedures, Position Details: - 2 openings chose from 64 hours every two weeks or 80 hours every two weeks. - Monday- Friday between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. - No evenings, weekends or holidays! Jen, LPN Qualifications: Licensed Practical Nurse - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. - Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. - Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff. OR Medical Assistant - Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. - Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following: - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) - American Medical Technologists (AMT) - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA) - National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) - Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. - Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
