External Description Str : Find your purpose as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant at CentraCare Allergy Clinic located at CentraCare Plaza. In this role, you will provide patient rooming for all types of clinic visits, communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers, and assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently. Job duties can include taking patient vitals, assisting with patient medications, pharmacy collection, allergy skin and spirometry testing, follow up on patients’ questions, provide allergy serum injections and help doctors as needed. Hours and Schedule: - Full-time 72-80 hours every two weeks - Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. - Fridays and weekends off! Pay and Incentives: - $2,500 LPN and $2,000 CMA hiring bonus. - $5,000 relocation assistance - Pay rate based on experience with a minimum rate of $19.66 (LPN); $18.62/hour (CMA) Benefits: - Regular positions offer medical, dental, PTO, retirement, discounts at local and national businesses, and more! Benefits | CentraCare Licensed Practical Nurse - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. - Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. - Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff. OR Medical Assistant - Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. - Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following: - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) - American Medical Technologists (AMT) - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA) - National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) - Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. - Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. - Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff. To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire. Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Saint Cloud and relocate to within 30 miles of your primary location within 120 days of start date.
