This position is in the Neuroscience portfolio group working on mobile and web applications serving deep brain stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, sacral neural stimulation, and targeted drug delivery therapies. A Day in the Life - Field and prioritize a wide variety of work requests from a large software team - Maintain existing test nodes ‘online’ status in Jenkins for all Patient Care therapy groups - Setup and configure new test nodes for all Patient Care Software (PCS) therapies - Create and approve GitLab/GitHub pull requests - Reset and configuration of Tablet/Handsets - Configuration and OS upgrades/downgrades w/ Odin - Updating INS and Communicator Firmware - Installing and configuring Windows and Linux OS - Ordering lab supplies and equipment - Equipment inventory and tracking - Shipping of PCS equipment to both overseas and local locations - Training and mentoring of Lab tech(s) Must Have: Minimum Requirements - Minimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience Nice to Have - Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent - Basic electronics knowledge and troubleshooting - Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP and FTP) - Electronic test and measurement communication (Serial/RS232 and USB) - General RF understanding, BTLE & wireless Telemetry communication - Programming experience – Java, Python, Groovy, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift - Version control expertise, particularly in GitLab - Ability to create, configure, modify, run, and maintain Jenkins jobs - Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as SauceLabs, Kotlin - Ability to create, update, build and deploy Docker images - Android OS and Android Debug Bridge experience About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
