It offers mentorship and guidance from experienced professions in the industry, and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. It offers exposure to various aspects of healthcare management, including regulatory compliance, financial management, and quality assurance. Services are provided in accordance with the mission of Guardian Angels. Job Duties: - Shadow and collaborate with departmental managers to learn about the functions of each department within the assisted living communities. - Assist the Director of Operations and Administrators with tasks and projects as assigned. - Learn about regulatory requirements for assisted living facilities and assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This may include participating in audits, maintaining accurate documentation, etc. - Gain insight into the financial aspects of operating an assisted living facility by assisting with budgeting, billing, and financial reporting. - To assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents. - Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities. - All duties will be performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations. - Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels Care Center policy and procedure and as related to HIPPA. - Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the Guardian Angels of Elk River. Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in degree program related to healthcare administration, business administration, social work, or related field. - Self-motivated, ability to prioritize. - Excellent verbal and written (read, write) communication skills. - Self-motivated, ability to prioritize. - Maintains good attendance and punctuality.
